What's the Treatment Like?

• First, your employee is referred by medical staff to a certified provider to evaluate
  if ASTYM treatment is appropriate
  

• If appropriate, your employee is seen twice weekly for treatment, and given a customized exercise and stretching program
• Treatment typically lasts only four to six weeks
• During treatment, your employee is encouraged to continue normal work with minimal or no restrictions in order to specifically strengthen the old injury to support the demands of the job
• Due to the strengthening and regenerative aspects of the ASTYM treatment, your employee will be discharged from therapy with improved function, decreased pain, and a knowledge of how to manage the physical stresses of his or her job
• Your employee will have less recurrence of injury due to specific strength and knowledge gained from the ASTYM treatment

ASTYM treatment can be easily implemented on-site, making it convenient for employees and very cost-effective for employers and payors.
