The online certification course is eligible for 28 contact hours of continuing education for PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, and ATCs. OTs and COTAs that choose to only take the upper extremity are eligible for 19.75 contact hours of continuing education. Upon completion of the course requirements, each attendee receives documentation of certification, including the number of contact hours earned and any other relevant continuing education information. Please note: the contact hours for this course may change as we continue to evaluate and improve the course based on participant feedback.
The Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice has approved this course for 28 contact hours. This activity has been approved by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 26.75 CCUs for PTs and PTAs. Performance Dynamics, Inc. (BOC AP#: P2270) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 28 Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program. This course is approved by the AOTA (AP#: 7777) for 28 contact hours.
