Who can get certified?

Astym therapy is only provided by medical professionals, such as PTs, OTs, PTAs, COTAs, ATCs, DCs, DOs, or MDs. Other professionals and military should contact our office for inquiries about certification eligibility.

Can I get on-site training at my clinic?

On-site training is a great opportunity to minimize time out of the clinic and travel expenses. If your clinic is located close to an international or large regional airport and you’re interested in on-site training, contact us for more details about this opportunity.

How many CEUs do I get?

Each Astym therapy certification course is eligible for up to 30.75 contact hours, depending on your state. Upon completion of the course requirements, each attendee is mailed documentation of certification, including the number of contact hours earned and any other relevant continuing education information.

Nationwide, our courses are currently approved by the FSBPT (ProCert) for physical therapists, the BOC/NATA for athletics trainers, and the AOTA for occupational therapists. We also maintain individual state approval by the Florida Board of Physical Therapy, the Florida Board of Athletic Training, the Ohio Physical Therapy Association, and the Oklahoma Medical Board. If your licensing board requires approval of continuing education courses and is not listed above, we are happy to provide you with all needed documentation to submit for individual approval with your licensing board.
