After a severe right humeral shaft and neck fracture with an IM Rod and several screws, I started physical therapy. Shortly into my therapy sessions my therapist started doing Astym treatments. Like all my therapies they were extremely uncomfortable but I wouldn’t trade that pain for anything! Because of Astym therapy I have the flexibility and strength that I currently enjoy in my right shoulder. What a great THERAPY! I wouldn’t have been able to return to caring for my patients without it. It saved my career as a RN after a terrible accident.
