I had foot surgery 6 months before seeing a physical therapist. I was not doing well with recovery and my walking ability was poor. I was introduced to Astym and immediately I felt an improved change as to the overall discomfort I had been experiencing.
I continued these treatments during my 5 months with physical therapy and can honestly say I looked forward to the treatment, although not always pleasant. Astym treatment has helped me with my recovery, as I am back on my feet! I am walking, running, and and doing well. I highly recommend Astym! Go for it!
