12 Jan Astym Therapy Gave Me Back My Mobility
I had fallen and was diagnosed with Adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder). I did physical therapy off and on for eight months. My doctor and I decided to do arthroscopic surgery and manipulation. I started physical therapy again the very next day and went 3 days a week for four weeks. I them came to a plateau in my recovery.. My physical therapist told me about Astym treatment and gave me information to take home and read. When I had my first treatment, I was like I can’t believe that it is going to hurt this bad, but immediately after on my way home, I could tell a difference in my mobility. With each treatment the pain became less and less and my mobility was much better. I had 2 treatments per week for 4 weeks. I am so glad that she recommended this treatment, it really boosted my recovery and gave me hope.
