After running a half marathon in the Fall of 2010, I had a sudden onset of intense pain through the arch of my foot thought to be Plantar Fasciitis. But the pain continued to increase and other treatments would relieve symptoms temporarily or not at all. Running became impossible. In early 2012, I finally was diagnosed with Plantar Fibromatosis. After more routine treatments, Astym was prescribed as a last effort. After the first few treatments, the pain became lessened. By the end of my treatments, I felt no pain in my feet and began my running training again!
Relief sustained through the end of 2012!
