I have been in back pain for over 20 years, in and out of physical therapy as well as the chiropractor. Last April 2013, I hurt my back doing cross fit. The MRI showed 3 bulging discs between L2-L5, 2 moderate and 1 mild. I was in physical therapy for 3 months and NOTHING was making me feel better. I was getting heat, ultrasound, massages and doing exercises. I was to the point of considering the injections or even surgery. Finally, I started receiving Astym. OH MY GOODNESS!
What a difference after ONE treatment. After 2 weeks of Astym, I have felt better than I have in 20 years. I cannot believe what a difference it made. My flexibility is back to what it was 5 months ago. I can do everyday things that I could not before without extreme pain. Getting dressed, putting my shoes on, rolling over in bed, sneezing, laughing, doing laundry, vacuuming, even shaving my legs were all very painful and I had to modify how to do it.
After Astym, I am now able to do everything without ANY pain what so ever! Love it!
