I had surgery on my shoulder in October of 2016 due to tearing my labrum working out. The procedure included cutting and reattaching my bicep tendon and cleaning up my labrum. During my recovery as I began using my arm more I kept having sharp pains in my shoulder. After I informed my Physical Therapist about these pains she began performing Astym therapy on my shoulder. Within two weeks I could tell a huge difference.
